The plant has an upright bush form with a height of about 40 cm. Flowers 4–7 cm in diameter have a burgundy-red shade with a feathered color distribution; petals are often ruffled or fringed. The leaves are serrated, with a rough pubescent surface.

The variety belongs to the medium or medium-early maturity group in terms of flowering time. The plant requires a cool period of maintenance for flower bud initiation. The crop is photophilous; with insufficient lighting, shoots stretch out and decorative quality decreases. Protection from direct midday sun rays is recommended.
