The flowers of the variety have a deep wine-purple hue and a double structure. The foliage is mid-green and has pronounced zonality on the leaf blades.
The plant is characterized by an ivy-leaved growth habit, which makes it suitable for cultivation in containers, planters, and hanging baskets. The variety is part of the Corriente series and is often used as a standard for comparing branching parameters and petal coloration in breeding work.
In the process of further breeding, the variety was used as a parental form for creating other varieties of pelargonium, including the use of grafting methods.
