The variety is also known by the trade name Royal Red. The plant has an intermediate or trailing growth type and is intended for ornamental landscaping.

The flowers of the variety are semi-double, colored red with a characteristic white basal zone at the base of the petals. The leaves have an open base and specific black markings.
