The variety is an interspecific hybrid of Pelargonium zonale (L.) L'Hér. ex Aiton × P. tongaense Vorster. It is genetically related to the Caliente series, while the phenotype shows a prevalence of ivy-leaved pelargonium traits.

The plant has a compact or medium-sized bush with a slightly cascading growth habit. Flowering is abundant, and the flowers are orange in color. The variety is characterized by good adaptability to external conditions, in particular high heat and drought tolerance, as well as the ability for active branching.

It is used in landscape design, as well as for growing in containers, balcony boxes, and mono-plantings.
