The Fisgren variety is a hybrid derived from Pelargonium ×hortorum and Pelargonium peltatum and is often classified within ivy-leaved pelargonium series, such as Corriente. The plant is characterized by good branching and stable coloration of the semi-double flowers.

The variety is intended for ornamental floriculture and is used as a pot plant or for decorating balcony boxes.
