The Fissil variety, also known as Brazil 99, is a zonal pelargonium with a compact growth habit. The plant features medium-green foliage and single flowers of a purple-crimson shade.

This variety is used in ornamental gardening. In breeding practice, it has been used as a female parent in the development of other pelargonium varieties.
