The DiaZ Fortuna variety is a hybrid of a zonal pelargonium and a zonartic. It is a standard-type shrub, characterized by rapid vertical growth and requiring pruning.

The flowers of the DiaZ Fortuna variety are double, rose-shaped, and do not open fully. The inflorescence color is raspberry-fuchsia with a white reverse. The Lis Fortuna variety is also a hybrid and is characterized by dense, double inflorescences of a lilac color.
