The zonal pelargonium "Mandarin" is a low-growing spreading plant 15 cm in height and 17 cm in width with medium foliage density. The leaves are round-cordate, green. The flowers are double, orange, and of medium size. The plant is characterized by prolonged flowering from March to November.

The regal pelargonium "Mandarin" is distinguished by large semi-double flowers over 6 cm in diameter, orange in color, often with a white border and dark spots on the upper petals. For full flowering, this group requires an obligatory dormant period at a temperature of +10…+15 °C lasting 1–1.5 months.

The hybrid "Lara Mandarin" belongs to the zonartic group. This is a well-foliated plant with an upright habit, producing large densely double flowers of a peach-orange or orange-pink shade.
