The pelargonium variety Peppermint Twist is a zonal cultivar with a slow growth rate. The plant forms a vigorous bush with thick shoots, reaching a height of 20–30 cm at maturity.

Flowers 4–5 cm in diameter are gathered in dense, large inflorescences. The petal coloration is characterized as fancy: on a white or pink-salmon background, there are bright red streaks and spots, the amount of which may vary. The plant is used as a pot culture for landscaping terraces, balconies, and open field.
