The plant has a compact, upright, bushy habit with a height of 30 to 45 cm. The flowers are tubular in shape, deep pink in color with white stripes in the throat. Flowering is abundant, beginning in late spring or early summer; if spent inflorescences are removed, repeat flowering is possible in late summer. The plant attracts pollinators, including hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies.
The variety is adapted to various soil types, including clay, is resistant to heat and drought, and is also resistant to damage by deer and rabbits. It is sensitive to waterlogging, which can cause the development of root rots in conditions of poor drainage. It does not require vernalization to initiate flowering.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
