Peperomia argyreia is an evergreen perennial herbaceous plant up to 20 cm in height. It forms a compact rosette of smooth, glossy, ovate leaves with a heart-shaped base.
The leaf coloration includes alternating green and silvery-white stripes, and the petioles often have a reddish hue. The plant is used exclusively for ornamental purposes in interior landscaping.
