Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant is a semi-succulent, characterized by a compact shape and thick leaves. Plant height varies from 30 to 70 cm depending on growing conditions. Used as an ornamental foliage indoor crop.

The species originates from the humid tropical forests of Ecuador and Colombia, where it grows as an epiphyte in nature. Successful cultivation requires bright diffused light and moderate watering. The plant is sensitive to waterlogging, which can lead to stem rot, therefore it requires good drainage. The optimal temperature range is 18–26 °C.
