The plant possesses tetrahedral stems that often acquire a reddish hue. The leaves are oval or lanceolate in shape, colored dark green with lighter lime or greenish stripes.
The plant habit varies from creeping to trailing growth type. The height under pot culture conditions ranges from 5–10 cm to 30–40 cm.
The plant is intended for indoor landscaping and is suitable for cultivation in pots and terrariums. It prefers bright diffused light, loose drained substrate, and a maintenance temperature not lower than 15°C.
