The Petunia Veranda™ 'Scarlet Improved' variety is a compact bushy plant with a spherical shape. A key feature of the variety is its large red flowers, the petals of which retain color intensity under the influence of sunlight.

The plant is intended primarily for balcony and container gardening. The breeding of the variety is associated with the work of Ushio Sakazaki, based on the use of wild Brazilian species to create modern vegetatively propagated hybrids.
