The line was obtained in 2004 in Japan during breeding work by Sakata Seed Corporation. The genetic basis includes Petunia line "103K" and Calibrachoa line "2B-106A-1".

The object is not a variety for commercial use. In documentation, it appears as an intermediate material, on the basis of which the "Hoobenihime" variety was developed as a result of mutation. During selection, breeders took into account parameters of flower color and size.
