Variety description

The flowers of the variety have a yellow-orange or orange coloration, sometimes with stripes. The plant is capable of producing a 'butterfly' mutation (peloric). The flower spike reaches a height of 50–75 cm and can carry from 10 to 20 flowers, forming a cascading type of inflorescence.

The leaves are evergreen, 10 to 30 cm in length. Flowering occurs approximately every six months and lasts about 8 weeks. The plant requires bright diffused light, regular watering, and a substrate based on bark and moss.
