The variety is the result of breeding using genetic material of the species Phal. amabilis, Phal. rimestadiana, Phal. aphrodite and Phal. schilleriana. The plant possesses the morphological characteristics typical of the genus: a shortened stem, fleshy dark green leaves, and paniculate inflorescences.
There are a number of registered clones of this hybrid, including 'K59804', 'New Orchids' and 'G L'. The plant is intended for decorative indoor floriculture.
