The variety is an artificial hybrid used as a model organism for studying plant physiology. An adult plant reaches a height of about 35 cm, although the parameters may vary depending on growing conditions.

The flowers have a yellow color with reddish or purple-brown markings on the lip. The flower diameter usually varies from 6 to 10 cm. The plant is sensitive to the effects of high temperatures on growth phases and flowering induction.
