The variety is used as a parent component in the breeding of Phalaenopsis hybrids. In commercial offerings, it is found under the name Happy News Spring Angel and is classified as a cascade Phalaenopsis, which refers to the method of shaping the flower stalk into an arch.

Plants of this variety have a height of about 60 cm at the time of sale and are supplied in pots with a diameter of 12 cm. Detailed botanical characteristics of the variety are not presented in open sources.
