The name "October Haze" is used among orchid enthusiasts to refer to a specific commercial Phalaenopsis hybrid. In Russian-language sources, the plant is also found under the name "Oktyabrskaya dymka".

The variety is distinguished by snow-white, dense flowers with a pink blush resembling frost, and an expressive orange lip. The plant is an ornamental hybrid intended exclusively for indoor floriculture.
