Variety description

The variety is a compact plant 30–40 cm tall with elongated leaves measuring 15–20 by 5–7.5 cm. Flower stalks reach 20–25 cm in length. Flowers 4.5–5 cm in diameter have a lilac-pink or purple-violet color with veins and a "watercolor" pattern, complemented by a contrasting lip.

A feature of the variety is a tendency for flower shape mutations, in which the petals take on the shape of a lip. This mutation is considered unstable and can manifest on individual flowers as well as change from one flowering period to another. The variety is used as an ornamental houseplant.
