The plant has a monopodial growth habit. The dark green leaves are oblong or elliptical in shape, reaching 15–20 cm in length and 7.5–10 cm in width. The total plant height varies from 40 to 65 cm.

The flower stalk, 30–40 cm long, bears flowers 10–11 cm in diameter. The flower color is multicolored: a white base with red-dark violet and yellow-green shades. The plant is cultivated mainly in greenhouse conditions or indoor environments.
