The plant is an epiphyte with a shortened stem, fleshy oval leaves, and inflorescences in the form of a raceme or panicle. It is an independent breeding unit within a commercial series of hybrid Phalaenopsis.

The variety is susceptible to common diseases of the crop; in particular, it was used in research on susceptibility to Fusarium wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. phalaenopsidis.
