The hybrid was obtained by crossing Phalaenopsis Kung’s Valentine and Phalaenopsis Brother Success. Its pedigree includes the species Phalaenopsis amabilis, Phalaenopsis rimestadiana, Phalaenopsis schilleriana and Phalaenopsis aphrodite.

The flowers, 8–9.5 cm in diameter, have a silky petal texture. The flower stalks can reach 80 cm in height; the leaves form a rosette 40–50 cm in diameter. With age, the plant increases the number of flower stalks and flowers, which appear approximately every six months.

In trade catalogs, the variety may be designated by a technical code and may also have mutant forms, such as the "butterfly" flower form. The plant is used as an ornamental indoor crop.
