Della Vigna is an early-maturing bush bean variety. The plant forms long pods, which are traditionally harvested at the tender green stage for whole-pod consumption.
The bean seeds have a beige-yellow color with a characteristic brown spot in the hilum area. In European catalogs, the variety is also referred to as St. Andreas.
