Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to the snap bean group intended for consumption as green pods. It is a bush plant, historically classified as a "Dutch snap bean" (mange-tout), and was developed with the requirements of mechanical harvesting in mind.

In the scientific literature of the 1970s, the variety was noted for having immunity or high resistance to a number of pathogens, in particular to passion fruit woodiness virus. At the present time, the variety is considered historical and is recorded in European vegetable crop catalogs of the 1970s–1980s.
