The variety has a determinate growth type and does not require support. The compact plant architecture and the positioning of pods near the soil surface reduce the crop's attractiveness to certain types of pests.

The seeds of the variety belong to the Faba Granja class, which is typical for its large size and oblong white shape. As part of the breeding program, an updated version of the variety called Maruxina 4 has also been developed, aimed at improving protective traits against pathogens.
