ActivePhaseolus vulgaris L. · Common bean
PRZEDSIEBIORSTWO NASIENNICTWA
10 August 2026
The variety forms a compact bush 35–40 cm in height and does not require support. The fruits are yellow pods about 15 cm long, containing brown-beige seeds. The pods contain a parchment layer, so the variety is not used as snap beans and is intended exclusively for shelling.
The plant is thermophilic; sowing in the ground is carried out from May to June at soil temperatures above 10 °C. Sunny and wind-protected areas with light or medium-heavy soils are suitable for cultivation. The crop is harvested at the wax ripeness stage for culinary use and canning or in a dry state for long-term storage.
