The variety belongs to the climbing forms of common bean. The main stem and lateral branches terminate in a vegetative bud, and the pods are distributed along the entire plant. The hypocotyl of the seedlings has a green color. The variety is intended primarily for cultivation for dry grain.

During studies of resistance to anthracnose caused by Colletotrichum lindemuthianum, the variety demonstrated resistance to 5 out of 9 tested pathogen races. The variety was developed for cultivation in mountainous regions characterized by a favorable climate without extreme temperatures.
