The variety is a climbing bean, the shoots of which grow up to 1.8–2.4 meters. The period from germination to technical maturity is from 61 to 70 days.

The produce belongs to the asparagus type: the immature pods are consumed whole. The pods have a round cross-section and are classified as thin.

The variety is open-pollinated and is often used as a reference sample when conducting comparative tests for distinctness, uniformity, and stability, as well as in studies of resistance to bean common mosaic virus.
