The seeds of the variety have an oval shape, resembling a kidney, and a white color with characteristic veins. The weight of 100 seeds is between 41 and 57 grams. The variety is adapted to the climatic and soil conditions of the León region.

When cooked, the grains retain their shape well and have a smooth, thin skin and a soft texture with moderate oiliness and flouriness. The variety is susceptible to diseases such as Fusarium wilt and bacterioses, which is why work is underway to provide farmers with high-quality seed material.
