Rocbrun belongs to dwarf forms of bush bean. Pods are characterized as very thin, straight, and fiberless, which allows them to be consumed whole. Pod color is yellow, grain is brown.
The variety possesses resistance to anthracnose and bean virus 1 (Virus 1). It was obtained by the backcrossing method of variety 'Michelet' with a donor of resistance to the specified pathogens.
