Phaseolus vulgaris L. Common bean · Agricultural · bred by Franchi Sementi (IT)

also searched as: трионфо виолетто

Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant is a pole type and tall, reaching a height of 1.8 to 2.5 meters, which necessitates the use of trellises or stakes. The variety belongs to mid-early or mid-season crops with a maturation period of 60 to 75 days.

The dark purple pods reach a length of 14–25 cm; they are slender and belong to the snap bean type without a parchment layer or coarse fibers at a young age. Upon ripening, the seeds acquire a beige or light brown hue.

The beans are valued for their delicate taste and versatile use, including fresh consumption, culinary processing, canning, and freezing. Thanks to purple stems, leaf veins, and lilac flowers, the variety also serves a decorative function in the garden.
