Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a low-growing bush bean, grown primarily in northern regions of Spain, such as Asturias and Galicia. The plant is cultivated on small plots under irrigation conditions, with seed sowing taking place in May.

A distinctive feature is the harvesting at a specific stage of maturity, while the pods remain green. This method allows for the preservation of the characteristic emerald color of the seeds and their flavor properties; upon complete drying, the seeds turn white and lose their original taste.
