The plant forms a compact, well-branched cushion up to 15 cm in height. Fleshy oval leaves with serrated margins change color throughout the season from light green in spring to burgundy in autumn, passing through glaucous-green and bronze tones.
Flowering occurs from late spring to late summer, most actively in July–August, with large pink-purple star-shaped flowers. The variety is distinguished by high drought tolerance, heat resistance, and frost resistance within USDA zones 4–8.
