Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a natural mutation of the species Philodendron hederaceum. The plant is an evergreen liana, an epiphyte. In indoor conditions, the length of the shoots reaches 1–2 meters, however, as it grows, the variegation of the leaves may decrease, up to a complete return to green color.

The leaves have a heart shape and a glossy surface. Flowering indoors occurs extremely rarely; the inflorescence is typical for the Araceae family and consists of a spadix with a spathe. The plant contains a caustic cell sap that irritates mucous membranes and is toxic to pets.

The variety is intended for ornamental interior landscaping. The crop is undemanding, but sensitive to waterlogging of the soil, which provokes root rot.
