The plant is an upright shrub with suckers and dark green oval leaves, which remain evergreen under suitable conditions. Plant height is 60–120 cm, and width reaches 90–180 cm.
Flowering occurs in summer and can continue until autumn. The variety prefers a sunny or semi-shaded location, rich soils, and regular watering. USDA hardiness zones are 7a–11.
