The pea variety Arena was included in British PGRO trials between 1991 and 1996. It was classified as a variety intended for processing (vining pea).
According to data from the 1996 trials, the variety matured one day later than the Baroness variety, and its yield was significantly lower than the average of the control varieties. Detailed agronomic characteristics, such as plant height or disease resistance, are absent in the sources.
