The Drevlians`ka variety belongs to the field pea (fodder pea) crop, and can also be classified as grain sowing pea. The source material from local populations of the Polissya zone was used in the creation of the variety; by development type, it is close to Swedish variety samples of the Western European ecological-geographical group.
The plant has high seed productivity, which under ecological variety testing conditions is 26–30 c/ha. The grain of the variety contains an increased protein level in the range of 24.5–26.1%.
