S. A. FLORIMOND DESPREZ VEUVE ET FILS
10 August 2026
The variety belongs to the Pisum sativum group and is often cited as a synonym for the Prince Albert variety. Plant height varies from 70 to 140 cm depending on growing conditions, which implies the need for installing supports for the stems.
The fruits are straight pods containing 6 to 7 smooth seeds inside. The peas have a delicate sweet taste and are suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for use in soups and salads.
The variety is intended for early sowing, starting from the period when the soil warms up to 10°C. Once the plants reach a height of 15 cm, hilling is recommended for additional strengthening of the stems.
