Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to the group of marrowfat peas (Pisum sativum L. convar. medulare Alef.). Its primary purpose is use in vegetable farming for the needs of the processing industry, particularly for the production of frozen vegetables.

In European agronomic trials, the variety was used as a late-maturing standard for comparison with early-ripening varieties. During the research, an analysis of the dynamics of dry matter accumulation was conducted, including indicators for alcohol-insoluble solids (AIS) content.

Data regarding precise stem height or specific resistance to diseases and lodging are unavailable. In certain archival inventory lists, the variety is mentioned in the context of potential resistance to root rot.
