Variety description

10 August 2026

The strain was obtained by crossing homokaryons isolated from wild populations of different geographical origins. The primary goal of its creation is the development of cultivation methods that allow for the reduction of anthropogenic pressure on natural populations of the species, which is included in the IUCN Red List.

The productivity of the strain depends on the substrate composition: the highest yield indices were recorded using olive leaves, as well as a mixture of wheat straw and grape pomace. The use of a casing layer during cultivation delays the appearance of fruiting bodies but increases biological efficiency.

The fruiting bodies of the strain possess satisfactory organoleptic properties and contain significant concentrations of proteins, amino acids, β-glucans, phenolic compounds, and ergosterol. Data on the morphological characteristics of the fruiting bodies as varietal traits are not provided.
