The plant is an annual succulent with a height of 20 to 50 cm with upright or ascending shoots. It differs from wild forms by a lighter, yellowish-green leaf color and less aggressive spreading.

The variety belongs to early-maturing crops, with technical maturity occurring 30–50 days after sowing. The leaves have a crunchy texture and a mild, slightly sour taste with nutty notes. The plant is thermophilic, prefers sunny areas with well-drained soil, and dies in frosts.
