The variety is an interspecific hybrid obtained by crossing Primula filchnerae and Primula praenitens using tissue culture methods to overcome species incompatibility.
The plant forms large single flowers. The flowering period lasts from early spring to late summer. The variety is suitable for cultivation in open field, in containers, and as a houseplant.
