The variety belongs to the Oakleaf primula group and is known by the commercial name Oakleaf Yellow Picotee. The plant is a compact perennial about 20 cm in height and width, characterized by its ornamental leaf shape and yellow flowers with a contrasting border on the petal edges.

The primula is intended for ornamental gardening, including use in borders, flower beds, alpine rock gardens, and container cultivation. The plant is a honey plant; it prefers sunny or semi-shaded areas with fertile, moist, and well-drained soil rich in humus.

The variety demonstrates resistance to growing conditions at altitudes over 600 meters. Like other representatives of the species, the plant can be affected by aphids, weevils, slugs, spider mites, and can also suffer from leaf spot and gray mold.
