The plant forms a neat bush about 25 cm high and about 20 cm wide. The deep green foliage has a characteristic oak-shaped form.
Large bright pink inflorescences are located above the leaf level on stiff peduncles, which ensures their vertical position. The flowering period is from June–August.
The variety is intended for cultivation in borders, containers, or as a groundcover plant. It is described as a hardy garden plant.
