Variety description
10 August 2026
The rootstock induces dwarfing in trees, reducing their height by approximately 50% compared to the vigorous F12/1 rootstock. The anchorage of trees is considered sufficient, although the use of a light support is recommended in the first years after planting. The rootstock does not produce root suckers.
Agronomic studies note the possibility of compatibility issues when grafting certain sweet cherry varieties and the sensitivity of the rootstock to viral infections, such as Prune Dwarf Virus. At the same time, data are recorded on efforts to increase resistance to coccomycosis, and it is noted that yields and precocity indices may be relatively low.
