The Carolina Belle variety is characterized by medium-large fruits with white juicy flesh and creamy-green skin with a pinkish-red blush. It is a freestone variety; the tree features vigorous growth, high productivity, and resistance to bacterial spot. Ripening occurs in mid-August.
The Carolina Gold variety is a late-ripening cultivar with yellow flesh. The fruits are large, firm, and resistant to browning when sliced. Due to a high chilling hour requirement, the variety blooms late, which protects the buds from spring frosts; it also possesses resistance to bacterial spot.
