Mid-season variety, fruits ripen in mid or late August. The tree reaches a height of 3–6 meters; in cultivation, it is often grafted onto dwarfing rootstocks to limit growth to 3–4 meters. The variety is self-fertile and does not require the presence of a pollinator tree.
Fruits are large, with pale skin and a red blush, possessing juicy white flesh with a sweet aroma. The variety has winter hardiness down to -20°C, but flower buds are sensitive to spring frosts. The plant is susceptible to leaf curl and requires planting in a location protected from the wind.
