The tree is distinguished by high productivity, rapid onset of bearing, and early abundant flowering. The tree vigor varies from weak to high depending on growing conditions; fruiting occurs primarily on mixed branches of two-year-old wood.
The fruits are of medium or large size, round, sometimes asymmetrical in shape, and have an intense dark red skin. The flesh is white, juicy, and has a sweet taste with a subacid note. The variety matures 8–15 days after the Redhaven variety.
